Family Fun Fest
Representatives from The City of Tampa's Recycling/Waste Division and the Parks and Recreation Department's "Green Team" were in attendance at this event. Our Environment and Sustainability Representative, Jeanne Preudhomme, was also on hand to talk about initiatives in our neighborhood.

Food Waste Prevention Week
About Food Waste Prevention Week:
From education to government agencies to nonprofits, our planning team represents a variety of stakeholders across the food and environmental education sectors that share our passion for conserving food, saving families money, and supporting a healthier environment.

After meeting with the founders of California's Food Waste Prevention Week in 2020, the Florida collaborative decided to make Florida Food Waste Prevention Week a reality. Click here to learn more about this week.

After a very successful Food Waste Prevention Week, the organizers are already looking forward to expanded participation for 2024!
The City of Tampa had a free tree giveaway for Earth Day. Read more about Bayshore Beautiful's involvement.
